5. How Winners Will Be Selected
There will be 12 finalist designs and six winning designs.
Stage 1: Shortlisting
Between 17 and 22 November 2026, Zombie's design team and an independent judge will review the eligible entries and select 12 individual sticker designs.
Entries will be assessed using the following criteria:
- Creativity and originality
- Interpretation of the Aliens & Space theme
- Visual appeal and personality
- Suitability for reproduction as a collectible sticker
The quality of the idea is more important than professional drawing ability.
Stage 2: Public Voting
The 12 finalist designs will be displayed on Zombie's website in our Hall of Brains from 23 November 2026.
Members of the public will be invited to vote for their favourite designs.
- Each voter may select up to four different designs in one voting submission.
- Only one voting submission per person is permitted.
- The four designs receiving the most valid votes will be selected as winners.
- Zombie will use reasonable technical measures to prevent automated, fraudulent or duplicate voting.
- Votes reasonably identified as fraudulent, automated or manipulated may be excluded.
- Where a tie affects the winning positions, an independent judge will select the winner using the published creative criteria.
Stage 3: Zombie Design Team Picks
Zombie's design team, together with an independent judge, will select two additional winners from the remaining finalists using the same creative criteria.
This means four winners will be chosen by public vote and two by the Zombie judging panel.
6. The Prizes
Each of the six winning artists will receive:
- A set of the new Zombie collectible stickers when available.
- Recognition as an official winning designer in the Zombie Hall of Brains and extensive bragging rights 😂
- A Zombie snack stash containing a selection of Zombie products.
- Exclusive Zombie merchandise.
Most excitingly, each winning design is intended to be transformed into a real Zombie collectible sticker, appearing in selected Zombie multipacks from approximately April 2027!
Prizes are non-transferable, with no cash alternative.
Snack stashes and merchandise will be dispatched within 30 days of confirmation of the winners. The collectible stickers will be sent separately following production, currently expected around April 2027.
If a prize component becomes unavailable due to circumstances outside Zombie's reasonable control, Zombie will provide a suitable alternative of equivalent or greater value.
7. Using the Winning Designs
- Winning designs are intended to be included in Zombie's collectible sticker range, expected to be available in selected multipacks from approximately April 2027.
- Zombie may make reasonable adjustments to winning artwork to ensure it is suitable for professional printing. These may include changes to size, colours, layout, outlines and other production-related details.
- Winning designs may be displayed on the Zombie website, packaging, merch, social media and promotional materials.
- The launch date is approximate and may change due to production or distribution requirements.
- If circumstances beyond Zombie's reasonable control prevent a winning design from being produced, the winner will still receive the other prizes described above.
8. Copyright and Artwork Permissions
Entrants retain copyright in their original artwork.
By entering the competition, entrants (or their parent or guardian, where applicable) grant Zombie a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to reproduce and display their submitted artwork for the purpose of administering and promoting the competition, including shortlisting, public voting, announcing winners and displaying artwork in the Hall of Brains.
Before a finalist's artwork is published, Zombie may request confirmation of the necessary permissions.
Winning artists (or their parent or legal guardian where applicable) will be required to sign a separate artwork licence before their design is used commercially.
This licence will allow Zombie and its authorised partners to reproduce, adapt, manufacture, distribute, sell and promote the winning sticker designs worldwide, including their use in Zombie products, packaging, marketing and merchandise, without additional payment or royalties.
The commercial licence will be perpetual, royalty-free and non-exclusive. Copyright will remain with the artist.
